We had a snowstorm roughly a month ago. That's not news.
The East Coast got hammered. Lots of flights were grounded.
A family friend was flying to New York City, and was at the airport when she found out her flight was cancelled.
So we came by to pick her up. While she was at the counter, my wife and I waited patiently.
Channel 13 News came by to film a little segment about the situation.
Some African American woman reporter (I don't know the person's name. I'm sure she's very important) was there- she turned to my wife and me and said 'We're going to film a little segment, but you probably won't be on television so don't be afraid.'
I wasn't really aware that I should be afraid of the camera like some primitive tribesman from the bush. To be honest, I wouldn't have feared being on TV.
