Now I know Canada is considered America Lite

Yesterday I did not bring the Sirius with me as Howard was a repeat.

So I listened to local radio.

And I caught a few minutes of Rush's fine program (Geddy Lee sounds like he's put on weight.  Look it up, Deep).

I caught a couple of doozies- one was talking about Obama and his re-election campaign- that Obama would stop at nothing- half-lies, outright lies, misleading statements, etc.  I almost drove off the road laughing as I would be shocked, shocked I say, shocked if at any point in the campaign Romney ventured into that territory....

But the winner (and you have to remember, this was in 20 minutes- so I can only imagine the mirth a full broadcast would provide) had to be when he was talking about Obama and the price of oil.  He was saying that Obama wouldn't let us drill, etc etc.  Then he talked about the Keystone Pipeline.  And he said that Obama claims to want to get us away from reliance on foreign oil but then turns down the Keystone Pipeline which would provide us with oil from Canada, an ally.

Ummmm.....I know I'm not overly bright-being a state worker and all, so I went online.  Sorry Rush, words have meaning- 'Of, characteristic of, or from a place or country other than the one being considered.'

He's a real knee-slapper (though wouldn't saying the Keystone Pipeline helps solve the problem of foreign oil a sort of 'half-truth?'  But half-truths are bad?  Now I'm confused....)
