It's one of the few shows that I ever watch- when I'm doing overnights for the state, I have the television on for background noise (as I read or do paperwork or try to run my business using a tablet- I need another and I can set the rules for a civilization).
I actually watch any of the myriad series. The problem is that I don't know much of the back story of the characters, and I watch random episodes so I really can't follow along with everything (though if I ever needed to, I suppose I could check that interweb thing to find out what's going on).
My father actually got me into the shows. We went to an antique show for a couple of days, and had to get a hotel room. He watches television and is a channel surfer. He also falls asleep to TV.
This is actually rather annoying to Zjabs who likes quiet to fall asleep.
So his father found an episode and started watching. Zjabs got into the story somewhat, only to hear his father snoring. Zjabs ended up watching the end of the show and then turned off the TV.
The good thing is that there were so many episodes across so many series that Zjabs usually ends up watching a new episode (to him).
And it's educational as well- Zjabs has learned one very important lesson. Lawyer up. I don't care WHAT you're being asked- LAWYER UP! Heck, the other day, Zjabs was walking downtown and an officer said 'hello, how are you, sir?' He looked at me oddly when I screamed 'I want my lawyer NOW!' Hey, better safe than sorry- I don't want them pinning that DB Cooper thing on me.
