I've noted that SiriusXM now offers Major League Baseball on the computer (and smart phone).
So this year, I've been listening to it regularly.
A few weeks ago on a Saturday, I ran down the list of games- and for some reason decided to listen to the White Sox v the Mariners.
During the game, the announcer mentioned the Yankees v Red Sox, and I nearly switched over but decided to stay with the game I was listening to.
And don't you know- I heard history. The 21st perfect game in baseball history.
And the 2nd I've heard in its entirety on the radio. Growing up, I heard Len Barker's perfect game for the Indians against the Blue Jays.
Pretty cool, and even odder when you consider I had no reason at all to listen to the Mariners v White Sox. But I'm glad I did.
