A few weeks ago, I had to do some work at a major auto dealership in the Rochester area (it was a decent sized showroom but wasn't huge Rochester, huge).
While sitting at a desk doing my work, one of the salesmen showed up.
He went to his desk and started kibitzing (some people do that in public, believe it or not).
I'd say he was roughly 25 years old.
After about ten minutes of having to endure him (and his answering his phone in a loud voice 'What up...' and talking about the typical things a kid does- 'why are we holding that promotion at five? That's Happy Hour- who would show up here instead of going to Happy Hour?' - Now granted,, if they held it at three, I'd be asking who would show up there rather than going to the Early Bird Special, but that's a different story), I texted Johnny X the following-
'Working at auto dealership. Two desks away from 25 y/o salesman. If I punch him in the face, would any jury convict me?'
(Johnny answered 'no way, go for it')
Some days, I'm more underpaid than others.
