A few weeks ago my job took me to a house. The guy answered the door. He had a dog barking in the hall. He asked 'will my dog bother you?' I replied that I didn't know as it was his dog.
(I knew better than to ask if his dog bites. That's Peter Sellers as Deep is over his head)

and I went to another site. The owner looked at me blankly and asked if she knew I was coming. I pointed out I couldn't know thar.
