I think it also includes a meaning of "nerd".

Editor's Note: when i picture a nerd, I see you, err I mean the classic nerds from Revenge of the Nerds, pocket protectors, glasses, etc.

thanks Z

Whuuu???? How dare you? You think someone who was hep enough to bring the concept of a weekly music column to the masses could somehow be a nerd? Puh-lease. I'm fly and fresh, yo.

Editor's Note: I picture you as Booger, on Revenge of the Nerds, mighty capable of a prolonged burp. thats something to be proud of.

thanks Z

thumbsup.gif I always liked "Gomer" and "Goober." A "Barney Fife" is a Smokey with the shakes. Hey isn't that the primary line up? (Dragnet.)

Editor's Note: good ones, homer is a good one too, some refer to Bob matthews that way!

thaks John

"Dweeb" is heard frequently in both the Midwest and the Mountain West. As for "Shmuck," I was in the room once when this word was used and a Jewish man said, "You should look that word up. You won't use it again if you do." I looked it up. I'm glad it wasn't one of MY pet words . . . .

Editor's Note: I thought Mel Brooks, a Jew, made up the word Shmuck, and a couple years ago he said people weren't using it enough, that it might go extinct.

thanks Gramma, i'm going to look it up.
