Time for a progress report - today is transformation day. The counter stunning; the floor awesome; the new ceiling fan installed.... and today...... today is the day of color change ---
My choice of colors has been the subject of discussion for a couple of weeks. Despite suggestions that perhaps my walls will be slightly dark for my small kitchen... I am going for it. I have a design in my head and will not give it up....so time will tell.
To boot - I bought new door knobs -- I put them on the upper doors to the left of the kitchen sink --- my friend came in and I remarked about the new door knobs....she immediately went to the drawer (with the old pull) and said. I really like them...... then later someone else stopped and I sort of got the same reaction -- that the old was as pretty as the new... well never mind folks ... i am going with the new and I now have 24 old ( i did only buy them a year ago) that I am selling for a song, so to speak.
