Anyway, another week has bit the dust. So this morning I decided I had better write an update. I realize everyone has been sitting on pins and needles wondering how my new outdoor camera and I are doing.
Here is the update. Monday morning, I dashed to the camera to see there were twenty-eight pictures on the camera. I was so excited. I put the sd card into my computer only to see twenty-two of the pictures were my son setting it up and me taking it down. THEN there were six pictures of a small deer close to the house heading to the bird feeder. I was estatic. However, they were all too dark to share. I could barely make it out even as I trimmed and edited them. As per the deer tracks there were two deer there, but alas my camera only captured one ===Not to be daunted I spent the next hour resetting my camera. I suspect this could be done in a few minutes, but one has to remember who is doing this.
Given my success, coupled with my determination to share photos with my readers, I found three apples left over from Christmas, I tossed them into the yard very carefully so my handy dandy camera would get good pictures. By this time, the beautiful snow was gone.
The next day, I sprung from my bed and sure enough two of the apples were gone. This caused me to put on boots and a jacket over my robe because I did not want to waste time getting dressed. It was cold that morning.... I should have pulled on some jeans...lol.
Anyway, over a hot cup of coffee, I retrieved the new eleven pictures. Again three were me walking away from the camera, three were me going to the camera...two were of a wind blown limb....BUT three of them were of............ you will never guess......at least it was not the enemy.
A RABBIT munching happily on the apples. BOO HOO! Oh I don't mind the rabbit but I was planning on a monster buck!
Anyway, that's my story - nothing has happened since - I will not give up. I hear there is snow coming next weekend so stay tuned.
