ITR Daily Mediatations------April 22
Living in Today
I can do well with this day.
Though I can take appropriate precautions
and make sound plans,
whatever problems are present in future days
will have to be faced and dealt with then.
The future looks scary when I compare it with today.
Either I want it to hold the promise of something better
or I want a guarantee that it will be as good as today.
This fear of my future is really fear of the unknown.
An existential terror of waking up one day
and finding myself to be an alien in my own life,
a stranger in my own skin.
Soul is only accessible through the here and now.
I can only solve my life for today.
I can only live one day at a time.
I will live this day as well as I can.

Anyone can do his work, however hard, for one day.
