I was just thinking of how many times
I have seen the term "planned parenthood"
in the media over the last few years.
(Decades?)
There is a psychological trigger
to the combination of those words.
Planned And Parenthood.
What parent really plans for
the "world" he or she
brings a child into?
Why don't they call it what it really means.
Planned NON-Parenthood.
People who are pro planned parenthood
seem to have a problem with
unplanned children in their lives,
in their world.
Sort of like, only the chosen people to be parents,
sanctioned by a state of
big brothers and other "watchers".
People who have a mental state of denial.
Denial of responsibility.
Denial of accountability.
Children are a blessing not a curse.
Why do they talk about
immaculate contraception devices?
The perfect world
where children are only born
to those chosen people
who can "afford" them and
are educated enough
to "raise" them properly.
By whose standards???
Just a little random thought
from a Vietnam Combat Veteran
who was "drafted"
by the same state of denial as I see now.
A state of denial
where those who are right
can never admit being wrong.
About anything.
People who will
never be blamed for anything,
by anyone, "beneath" them.
Still more thoughts to be coming here.
The Unplanned Parenthood of Miracles,
Blessings, and Divine Consequences,
despite the best "laid" plans of Mice and Men...

The authority on parenting? A thirty year old, childless law student, planning on what? A legal career? And to hell with the children of our veterans? I may have a little problem with this kind of authority, but Congress seems to be sucking it up for the coming elections. Cut the benefits to children of veterans, and then re-appropriate it to "planned parenthood" of the legal establishment of chosen perfectionists".
(there is a really profound Freudian slip right there...)
