thumbsup.gif I WAS RUN OVER BY THE TRUTH ONE DAY;
EVER SINCE THE ACCIDENT I'VE WALKED THIS WAY;
SO STICK MY HEAD IN TAR AND FEATHER OFF MY BEHIND;
EXILED IN INJUSTICE, I HAVE NEARLY LOST MY MIND...

ROADKILL OF THE HONEST, HONORABLE, AND HUMBLE, ON THE PAVED ROADS OF GOOD INTENTIONS.

Editor's Note: "nearly" only counts in horese shoes and hand grenades

"Is God asleep at the switch? Doesn't He hear the sincere prayers of the faithful who have little left but hope and their faith?

Why not recognize the good that we have received both by our efforts and if He exists, God's grace. "

God made us into sentient people with the ability to make decisions and solve problems.

We can take our petitions to Him and if we open our heart to listen to him, we will get guidance. But remember, God is a kind and judicious parent and sometimes His answer is "No" because He sees the bigger picture.

Editor's Note: According to Genesis our ability to discern good from evil resulted from disobedience to God as Adam ate the apple.

Since all flows from God I would hardly classify all the misfortunes of the world as resulting from a "kind and generous" Creator.

Yes God "sees" and knows all, but doesn't man try to explain God's motives and actions as no more than a super being that thinks like we do with the same emotions as humans? Is our knowledge of good and evil a curse? Or was some translator trying to turn readers into obedient subjects?

thumbsup.gif My passion to see it's Truth and be its Witness means as much to me as the intelligence I have been blessed with to understand it.
????

As the shadows lengthen in this twilight I see,
I still wonder what I wish "TO BE"?
A foolish writer devoid of wealth,
I write from my heart, to assist my health.

I know how a man make fifty dollars go pretty far,
With his feet of clay and his hide covered with tar.
The flights of his imagination,
Help immensely; his alienation.

Editor's Note: The advice I was given was to "Hearken to the still small voice within"

My own experience has been as we grow older the Voice gets louder.
