Every fall we note the first snow. We’re a couple thousand feet up and that seems to make a big difference. Springwater hills get the snow earlier and lose it later than Rochester. Attached pictures of the white stuff that fell yesterday evening (Oct 27th).
I know it’s pretty --- but I have come to somewhat dread the winter, with the long, dark commute back and forth to work in Rochester. I’ve been doing this approaching 30 years, logging 750,000 miles, a few deer and a couple windshields. Another year+ of this before I reach Medicare and able to retire. (If not – health insurance premiums alone would be $20,000/yr for me+wife on early SSI – yikes!)
