I am only one of 180,000 men diagnosed with prostate cancer in the past year. The stories that I am including are from my journal. They are written in the present tense because they are taken directly from my journal as I was experiencing the battle. I always felt that I would survive. I have survived but for the general good, I've decided to share my thoughts and moods during my battle. Every case of cancer of course has its own story so there are at least 180,000 stories of prostate treatments available but not enough of them are recorded so the mystery of the battle continues. Part of my purpose here is to relate my battle as it occurred. I don't want to mislead. I have survived but I am well aware that the battle for survival will last for the duration of my lifetime. For those readers who like to get to the ending of the story first...you can stop here. I'm feeling great. For those interested in how I got here..continue reading. I've always been a journey guy myself and this journey has been particularly illuminating.I hope we're on the same page. I am no more courageous nor cowardly than my 180.000 brothers who made this journey with me. Not all of them are here to tell the story. I am. I am blessed with the ability and the vitality to share and that's what I'm doing here. I hope it helps somebody somewhere.
