Ah yes. My life seen through the glass darkly. Very perceptive, both real and lyrical. Thanks Miss K. Editor's Note: Seriously- I loved playing first chair second violin! I dreaded being in the first violin section. I think that works for my life too. Second place is respectable, and yet- no pressure but what you place on yourself. First place- is always asking to be knocked down. Works for me, thanks for reading, and for "getting it."

Too often I have found myself playing the the first fiddle section when I am much better suited to be part of the scenery change crew. Despite what some may think, first fiddle is not for me.
You wrote the words that I needed to say in this wonderful poem. Editor's Note: A sincere thanks. I loved playing first chair, 2nd violin. I was the second child of seven, I was Chuckles' second fiance, Second has always suited me. If I have ever served as a counselor, it's always been second, in primary, yw, or rs. The pressure of 1st violin was never enjoyable to me. Eileen wrote- the poem about how she enjoyed the first position, she triggered so many thoughts, this was a response to her great thoughts.
