Please identify for me, Mr. Newdow, exactly which church it is that forces the government to put our national motto on our currency, or exactly which religion the government thought it was "establishing" by adopting "In God We Trust" as the national motto?

Is it the Catholics?  Baptists?  Mormons?  Methodists?  Mennonites?  Presbyterians?  Episcopalians?  Muslims?  Eastern Orthodox?  Jews?  "Non-denominational"?  Shinto?

The point is, everybody trusts in God, or in a god of some kind; by definition, really.  That in which you most trust is your god. 

It could be the very coins and bills upon which the words are engraven---for there are many who worship money above all else, though by word perhaps they speak of a divine being.

It could be Satan himself, the father of lies, who casts himself as "the god of this world," who so effectively mingles truth with falsehood that many think they worship truly when they follow him; who "hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ...should shine unto them" (2 Cor. 4:4).  (If that's not an apt description of your and your fellow antitheists' mission, I'll be the son of a motherless goat.)

But for disbelievers such as yourself---nay, worse, for you are thoroughly antitheistic, not only not believing but seeking to impose your antireligion upon the rest of us, by wresting the Constitution unto unholy, unintended purposes---your god, the one you worship, the one you trust implicitly, the one to whom you suppose you make your only and final account, is yourself.

And here is one example of a mixing of truth with lies.  We are "[our] own judges, whether to do good or do evil" (Alma 41:7).  Moreover, we will be our own judges in a coming day when "our words will condemn us, yea, all our works will condemn us; we shall not be found spotless; and our thoughts will also condemn us" (Alma 12:14).  "We shall have a perfect knowledge of all our guilt, and our uncleanness, and our nakedness," and "shall confess before God that his judgments are just" (2 Ne. 9:14; Mosiah 16:1).

When we realize who we were in the premortal life, many of us will be ashamed of who we became in this life.  We are accountable to our spiritual selves.

But more than that we are accountable to God, the Father of our spirits, and to Christ, the Savior of our souls, by whose power we shall be brought back to the Father for the aforementioned judging. 

In recognizing our self-accountability, however, antitheists deny every hint of a spiritual dimension, and reject the idea of a High Judge separate from ourselves, against whom we rebel in our idolatry.

You worship yourself, Mr. Newdow, and you want us to join your idolatry.  You are nothing more than a jealous glory hog, much like the evil spirit who inspires you while denying his own existence.   Tormented by daily reminders that you are not the god you would like to be, you think to salve your wounds by eliminating all references to the God you would reject and replace.

And thus you spread your evangelistic antichristian pseudoreligion with far more zealotry than the most enthusiastic Christian missionary ever did.

I'd compare you to the ancient apostle-missionary Paul, were it not for the fact that you do your work by force.  By lawsuit.  By intimidation. 

The abominable Inquisition has nothing on you.  The horrors you see committed in the name of Christ pale in comparison to the horrors you would commit against the name of Christ.

In God we Americans do trust, Mr. Newdow.  Historically, collectively, and individually.

Even you, who put your trust in the arm and mind of the flesh and selfishly deny spiritual realities known and loved by your more enlightened neighbors, you trust in God.

Especially when looking in a mental mirror.
