Michael,
This from the same people who think it's okay to suck an innocent baby from it's mother's womb... As long as it's the mother's choice, of course...
That says it all... Editor's Note: Or to deliver it most of the way, and then suck its brains out. Or should it survive and have the nerve to actually get born, to let it die of neglect. Thanks Steve.

Very nicely done. It will probably fall on the deaf ears of the clapping seals but very nicely done regardless.
I love it when big government liberals try to invoke the name of Christ as justification for the abuse of his teachings. Never once did I read about Christ lobbying Ceasar for more welfare programs but they seem to leave that out.
If anything, they deny me the resources I need to perform my responsibilities as Christan by taking so much of my money that I could be giving to those that truly need it, not those that abuse it. Editor's Note: Amen. Thanks Mickey.

Hopefully this isn't too far off topic but...
In the Garden of Eden Adam and Eve were allowed to partake of any tree but one. I am assuming that marijuana was present. So the question is, what about medical marijuana?
We've all heard the "God made pot, made made booze who do you trust?" schtick, but what about this issue in theological context? I mean as long as it is illegal the answer is no, I think all Christians can agree on that. But if it were legalized, I wonder?
What do you think? Editor's Note: Did you hear some caterwauling just now? No? Oh well.
I've heard some whacky-tobaccy types actually try to put forth that the tree of life was marijuana itself.
God made arsenic, too. That doesn't make it wise, from a spiritual standpoint, to ingest it. (Fortunately it's not as habit-forming as some substances.) [Adapted from Boyd K. Packer, "The Word of Wisdom: The Priciples and the Promises," in Ensign, May 1996.]

Did you have the opportunity to hear "Fledgling Finches and Family Life".... ? We were able to spend a few days at Ed. Week. Love that Pres. Packer!!!! Editor's Note: No, I didn't. Was that an Ed-week talk of his? Maybe they'll replay on BYU TV.

So, according to Obama, it's a moral imperative that we be our brother's (and sister's) keeper by passing universal health care, right?
So we can legislate morality? I'm so confused. What happened to this sort of thing being above his pay grade? Editor's Note: Must've gotten a raise?

Interesting in Twin Falls Idaho newspaper times news people writing to letters say Christian calls for health care feform this is what Jesus Wants. A radio personality blogs in comments this is what Jesus would want and gives his own sob stories of bankruptcy and losing everything put yourself in those type of shoes.
Thing is people that use what would Jesus do when it is there agenda I think are just as guilty of taking his name in vain as someone that uses his name in casual conversation or anger. Doctrine and Covenants 63:61 LEt every man beware of how they take there name on my lips.
I mean in mortality he stayed out of a family dispute. Now he is brought in all the time. I know he would do the right thing. He gave us our property so we need to choose how to use the property he gave us. We don't need to make that decision for our neighbors of what he gave them. The 8th and 10th commandments still exist and people use the vehicle of government to violate those commandments. Editor's Note: Those and others. Thanks Spencer.
